A Very Dark Room_Lou

A Very Dark Room explores grief and identity loss in a cryptic and defamiliarizing universe. The player wakes up one day, with the head of a bird, and a corpse in their fridge. As they are trying to figure out what this physical change means, while remembering the person they lost, secret forces kidnap them into a weird laboratory, seemingly accusing them of being a criminal. In the very dark room, the player meets with the person they miss so dearly, but communication is compromised, and time is running out. While struggling with mental health issues and processing their feelings, the player-character needs to choose the right battles to get out of here alive, and to understand what happened to them and to the person they loved.

Grief is not only a process; it is a room you can decide to stay in, or to leave.
